Dear
Sublime Prince of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite,12 Nov 2009
Two degrees, a meal, and fellowship. On Saturday, November 14th, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., every Consistory in the Northern Jurisdiction will be presenting the 31st (Constans) and 32nd (Sublime Prince) degrees. The
Vermont Consistory will meet in Montpelier.
This is a unique Reunion. We wish to minimize business,
and maximize the opportunities for Scottish Rite brothers to mix fraternally. We wish to welcome brothers who have
not been recently active to touch base again with the Constans allegory and the summing up of freemasonry as seen in the 32nd
degree.No business, no fund-raising
You are welcome in your hunting clothes. Call it deer camp for
Masons. You are welcome in your tux (officers especially), or any threads in between. Why not bring another Scottish Rite mason from your Blue Lodge? Enjoy the travel together, and
see some familiar faces .
Excellent coffee and snacks at 9:00 and between degrees. We will have a great lunch at 12:30 or 1:00 p.m. following the degrees, and some
short inspirational and amusing presentations. The meal by the Square and Compass Club will be
augmented with some venison stew. No ladies program is planned, but they are welcome to join us
for lunch.
This
Reunion will be held at the MontpelierBoutwellMasonicCenter, as a central location for the State of Vermont. It's right next to the IceCenter, at 288 Gallison Hill Road, down from U-32.
Please contact Ron Place (below)if you know you are coming, so we get a rough head count for food.
Remember, every 32nd degree member of Scottish Rite is a member of the Valley of Burlington, home of the Vermont Consistory.Or
if you wish to call your local Valley secretary- reach him at:\
Oh yes, we do have a nice
class of candidates from across the State, so you can meet some new as well as old brothers.
Your brothers extend to you this
invitation to join in this special Reunion of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. Even if
you do not call ahead, come anyway.
